Overview

An elegant coming soon or maintenance page with countdown, email collection and social links, while you and your team keep working on the real site.

  • A clean page while your site is being built
  • Maintenance mode that keeps your Google rankings
  • Secret link to show the site to clients

Best for: New sites, launches and agencies

Installation

  1. Download soonpage-coming-soon.zip from My account › My plugins or from your order email. Do not unzip it.
  2. In WordPress, go to Plugins › Add New Plugin › Upload Plugin, choose the zip and click Install Now, then Activate.
  3. Open your site in a private window to see what visitors see.

Requires WordPress 6.0+, PHP 7.4+. Works with any theme, block themes and page builders.

Features

  • Three modes: Off, Coming soon, Maintenance (sends HTTP 503 + Retry-After so Google keeps your rankings)
  • Logged-in editors keep seeing the real site (choose who)
  • Secret link for clients: they see the real site for 30 days, without an account
  • Modern glass design, 6 gradient backgrounds or your own image, your logo and accent color
  • Countdown to your launch date (the page reloads by itself at the end)
  • Email collection with spam protection, CSV export
  • Social and contact links
  • Pages that stay open (legal notice, privacy policy…)
  • "Coming soon mode ON" reminder in the admin bar
  • Content routes of the REST API are closed to visitors too
  • Preview button, no page builder needed
  • Lightweight: one HTML page, no jQuery, no external service, no tracking
  • Translation-ready (French included)

For developers

Customize the plugin from your theme’s functions.php or a small plugin, without editing its files (your changes survive updates).

Updates

Updates are free. When a new version is out, it appears in Dashboard › Updates of your WordPress site and you can install it in one click, or turn on automatic updates in Plugins. This works for the zip downloaded from your Woo-Plugins account; older copies can be replaced by downloading the latest version from My plugins. See the changelog.
