Black Friday: 30% off all plugins from 24 Nov · Join the list for early access →

Overview

“Order within 2h 14m and get it Thursday 6 November”: a real delivery estimate from your shipping rules, on product pages, in the cart and at checkout.

  • Customers know when their order will arrive
  • Order cut-off and holidays handled for you
  • Fewer “where is my order?” emails

Best for: Any store shipping physical products

Installation

  1. Download shipdate-delivery-date.zip from My account › My plugins or from your order email. Do not unzip it.
  2. In WordPress, go to Plugins › Add New Plugin › Upload Plugin, choose the zip and click Install Now, then Activate.
  3. Open a product page: the estimated delivery date appears above the Add to cart button.

Requires WordPress 6.0+, PHP 7.4+, WooCommerce 7.0+. Works with any theme, block themes and page builders.

Features

  • Order cut-off time: orders placed before it are prepared the same day
  • Processing time, shipping days and carrier delivery days
  • Transit time as a range (e.g. 2 to 3 days): "between Thursday 6 and Friday 7 November"
  • Holidays and closures: fixed dates (12-25), one-off dates or ranges, skipped automatically
  • Countdown "Order within 2h 14m", shown only when the cut-off is near (you choose how many hours)
  • Extra preparation days per product (made to order, personalised) and a "hide" option
  • Products on backorder: extra days, or no date at all
  • Virtual and downloadable products are ignored; out-of-stock products show nothing
  • Estimate for the whole order in the cart and at checkout (classic and block cart / checkout)
  • Calculated again in the visitor's browser, so dates and countdown stay correct on cached pages
  • Your date format, your texts (with placeholders), soft box or simple line, your accent color
  • `[shipdate]` shortcode for any page or product template
  • Compatible with HPOS
  • Lightweight: no jQuery, no external service, no tracking
  • Translation-ready

Shortcodes

Paste a shortcode in any page, post, widget or page builder text block.

  • [shipdate]

Options of each shortcode are described in the Features above and in the plugin settings page.

For developers

Customize the plugin from your theme’s functions.php or a small plugin, without editing its files (your changes survive updates).

Filters

  • shipdate_extra_days
add_filter( 'shipdate_extra_days', function ( $value ) {
	// Change $value here.
	return $value;
}, 10, 1 );

Updates

Updates are free. When a new version is out, it appears in Dashboard › Updates of your WordPress site and you can install it in one click, or turn on automatic updates in Plugins. This works for the zip downloaded from your Woo-Plugins account; older copies can be replaced by downloading the latest version from My plugins. See the changelog.
