Overview
“Order within 2h 14m and get it Thursday 6 November”: a real delivery estimate from your shipping rules, on product pages, in the cart and at checkout.
- Customers know when their order will arrive
- Order cut-off and holidays handled for you
- Fewer “where is my order?” emails
Best for: Any store shipping physical products
Installation
- Download shipdate-delivery-date.zip from My account › My plugins or from your order email. Do not unzip it.
- In WordPress, go to Plugins › Add New Plugin › Upload Plugin, choose the zip and click Install Now, then Activate.
- Open a product page: the estimated delivery date appears above the Add to cart button.
Requires WordPress 6.0+, PHP 7.4+, WooCommerce 7.0+. Works with any theme, block themes and page builders.
Features
- Order cut-off time: orders placed before it are prepared the same day
- Processing time, shipping days and carrier delivery days
- Transit time as a range (e.g. 2 to 3 days): "between Thursday 6 and Friday 7 November"
- Holidays and closures: fixed dates (12-25), one-off dates or ranges, skipped automatically
- Countdown "Order within 2h 14m", shown only when the cut-off is near (you choose how many hours)
- Extra preparation days per product (made to order, personalised) and a "hide" option
- Products on backorder: extra days, or no date at all
- Virtual and downloadable products are ignored; out-of-stock products show nothing
- Estimate for the whole order in the cart and at checkout (classic and block cart / checkout)
- Calculated again in the visitor's browser, so dates and countdown stay correct on cached pages
- Your date format, your texts (with placeholders), soft box or simple line, your accent color
- `[shipdate]` shortcode for any page or product template
- Compatible with HPOS
- Lightweight: no jQuery, no external service, no tracking
- Translation-ready
