WooCommerce sends order emails, but not invoices. Customers who buy for a company, and your accountant, need a proper document.
What an invoice shows
- A unique, sequential number and the invoice date.
- Your company name, address and VAT number.
- The customer’s details and, for businesses, their VAT number.
- Products, quantities, prices, taxes and total.
Required mentions depend on your country: check them with your accountant.
Numbering
Invoice numbers should follow each other without gaps, often with a prefix and the year: INV-2026-0001. Give the number when the order is paid.
PDF without a service
A clean invoice page printed with the browser’s “Save as PDF” gives a perfect PDF, with no external service and no library to install.
Let customers download it
A button in My account saves you the emails asking for it.
Invoicly creates numbered invoices and packing slips with your logo, address and VAT number, printable or saved as PDF, and downloadable from My account. See both documents on the demo.
