Fields marked as required are needed to complete the relevant request. Without the necessary checkout information we cannot process an order; without contact details we cannot reply. Please do not include passwords, card security codes or unnecessary sensitive information in a support message.

3. Payments

The checkout currently offers PayPal and card payments through PayPal’s payment solution. Payment information required for the transaction is processed by the payment provider. Woo-Plugins uses the transaction references and payment status needed to manage the purchase and any refund. PayPal’s own processing is described in its privacy policy.

4. Who receives the data?

Data is accessible to the operator and to providers involved in the requested service to the extent necessary for their functions. The website is hosted by OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France. The payment provider receives the information needed for payment processing. Information may also be disclosed where a legal obligation requires it. Contact-form messages are addressed to contact@woo-plugins.com.

5. International processing

The host’s registered address does not establish the location of every service involved in a purchase. PayPal describes international processing, including outside the European Economic Area, and the safeguards it uses in its own privacy policy. For information about a transfer involving your order, contact Woo-Plugins or the payment provider concerned.

6. Retention periods

CategoryRetention period
Invoices and necessary accounting evidence10 years from the end of the relevant financial year, with access restricted to the records needed for accounting obligations.
Marketing data concerning a customerDuring the commercial relationship, then no more than 3 years from its end, unless consent is withdrawn or the person objects earlier.
Marketing data concerning a prospectNo more than 3 years after collection or the last active contact initiated by that person. Simply opening an email does not restart this period.
Accounts, purchase entitlements and access to downloads or updatesFor the period during which the data remains necessary to provide the purchased access. These records are not automatically deleted just because the person has stopped receiving marketing emails. A deletion request is assessed separately from any records that must be retained.
Support and refund correspondenceFor handling the request and any associated warranty or dispute. After the operational need ends, retain only what is required to establish or defend a right or meet a legal obligation; otherwise delete the data.
Objections and withdrawals from marketingA minimal suppression record is kept to respect the choice, separately from active marketing lists and without using it for further promotion.

These rules require periodic review and deletion or restricted archiving as appropriate. A dispute or specific legal obligation may justify retaining the relevant evidence for longer, rather than keeping all customer data indefinitely.

7. Cookies and third-party resources

WordPress and WooCommerce use technical mechanisms for login, the cart and customer sessions. Payment features can load resources from PayPal. Cookies strictly necessary for a service requested by the visitor are distinguished from optional tracking. Where prior consent is legally required, optional tracking must not be activated merely because a person continues browsing or accepts the sales terms.

Browser settings can also be used to manage cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent checkout from working.

8. Your rights and contact

Depending on the processing concerned, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully. A marketing objection does not require deleting the accounting evidence of a purchase.

Send a request to contact@woo-plugins.com or to the postal address above. Include only the information needed to identify the relevant account or order. Additional identity checks may be requested where reasonably necessary. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

9. Changes

This notice is reviewed when the site’s processing changes, including the payment providers, marketing forms or retention practices. The date at the top identifies the current version.
